Andrew Gurick, PA-C, pursued a career in health care because he wanted to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Mr. Gurick believes that a career in health care provides the greatest opportunity to touch the lives of as many people as possible. And when it comes to healthcare, as a lifelong athlete, he is passionate about helping patients with spine, musculoskeletal and sports injuries get better quickly and return to an active, pain-free life.
He received his Master of Science degree as a Physician Assistant from Monmouth University in New Jersey and his Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey.
His approach to patient care is to view each patient as a member of his family. “I believe the best care takes place when there is compassion and mutual respect in the patient-provider relationship”, he says. Additionally, Mr. Gurick feels the most important aspect of a visit with one of his patients is education, which enables our patients to take control of their health and play an active role in their care.
When not working, he enjoys exercising, being outdoors, and spending time with family.
